@WBTV_News y’all really need to look into @DukeEnergy to compare outages and restoration time to other areas. Basic summer storms knocking out power grids every time for 12 hours is ridiculous and everyone here just accepts it as the norm.

@DukeEnergy Okay... You guys have been good in the past, and this is the first outage in 2020 after a dozen of them in 2019.However, the more widespread outages from last year were resolved quicker than this. Was not planning to go into the night still without power.

@DukeEnergy I would really like some answers this time, this is the third outage in the span of 3 months that we've had. Every other apartment complex around us has power except for hours. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Hey @DukeEnergy ....at 3pm the power would be back at 6:45....then 7:45.....now midnight. My fish would like to know how long they need to hold their breathe. (Googling battery pumps.)
