@dem0n1 I hate Comcast so much. There’s no justification for charging individual consumers $100/month for decent speed Internet access. It’s blatant price gouging by a socially indifferent mega-monopoly with a huge lobbying budget to keep the scam going. Worst US customer service too.

The joys of apartment living mean that there’s only Comcast Business here BUT I do have a cellular backup link. The big issue is getting failover to work since nobody will give a consumer their own AS and BGP announce filters. Longer term I think I’m gonna tunnel everything

Just got off the phone after an hour of troubleshooting with a Comcast CSR who couldn't fix the connectivity issue. She scheduled a technician for Thursday and the last thing she said before hanging up was a scripted, "Don't forget to put a smile on your face. " 😐 #No

Day 5 of no internet thanks to @ATT not caring about customer service. Everytime I speak to a customer representative, he or she said it will be back tomorrow. They even promised it will be resolved. 3 representatives later, no solution. @comcast may get another customer soon.

@SorcererLance Well, the thing about Comcast's "bundle deals" is that it lowers the prices for the customer. Problem is, when that contract is up, you pay extortionate prices. I was paying $132 (ish) a month for just internet, cuz I needed a speed boost ($30 of it) and no data cap ($50 extra)

@Xfinity @Jay3OW Oh, here's the classic response. Hey, Xfinity: The DM not only takes literal HOURS for you guys to respond to but it helps a total of 0%. Man if you guys can only see the ocean of DM's between them and I and my internet is still dog ****.

@msinger @denverpost Good and bad. Good that people can see it. Bad that the fundamental issue was not addressed. In fact, this is a win for Comcast (and loss for altitude) as missing games like this may have been the final straw for some people to switch to someone who carries altitude.
