Hrogi,
I just saw that miata also on CL. I was kinda thinking that it might be a little suspect given that the guy that owns it took pictures of it at night...lol I talked to a 1992 or 1991 owner a couple weeks ago who picked his miata up for $1500 because it was a previous theft recovery. It didn't have the body damage like this CL miata does but he said it was still rough. Anyways, it took him about a year to fix it up, now it looks like new. I was a little jealous cause he paid so little for it!

It would be a good parts car, I think if you part it out you may even make money off it. Or a good beginning of a track car.

$600 i s cheap for a car like this...
The Top has issues you can tell. but for $50 you can fix the rear window..
Body work, well Bondo will fix part of that...
and yes you could part out most if it...

You take pictures at night because that's when you can get to the car where the real owner parked it. Once the check clears you go pick up the car for the new owner as a simple courtesy service. :D
Looks like the ad has been deleted.

Me too, but only for $599, though. $600 would be a deal breaker!

Yeah I agree with you guys, if it was legit, it was a good price for a parts car...maybe even a driver if the body gets fixed. Hey it ran and passed smog so that's about all you can ask of it when it's only (or was) $600.

Sorry, it got taken down pretty quickly. Don't know if it was the real deal or not, but I somehow doubt it was within ANY of our price ranges! Then again, minus the dealer markup...

Just to clarify - I was talking about the Enzo. I certainly hope $600 is within most of our reaches!

Dang... I missed the Enzo ad. If the Enzo is for $600, I would make sure it is a 1:1 Enzo and not make of clay or cardboard. Oh yeah, it would help if there is a real engine in it and it moves on its own.

for 600 u would probably get 1.5 wheels :P

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't try clarifying things. I seem to muddle them all up!
I meant the Enzo ad got taken down. I was hoping that $600 dollars for the Miata would be something most/all of us could swing, not that that was the price for a crazy Italian supercar, no matter what condition it might be in! I have no idea what the Enzo's asking price was, since the ad got taken down before I could inspect.
And yeah Ed, if you could get 1.5 wheels for 600 bones, TAKE IT! My friend shelled out $800 for ONE wheel (no, he doesn't have an Enzo, he's sticking them on an F328), so by the time he finishes the set of four, he'll be at over three grand on just wheels. Crazy ****!

them be on the cheap side too. i'm sure there are some HRE, iForged, DPE, Carozzeria, Fikse wheels above $1000 each.

Dang Token Girl, your friend's wheel/tires combo is more expensive than my Miata.
