You can have your cloth diapers and eat them too with this DIY cake! Whether you’re in need of a gift or unique center piece for a baby shower, here’s a step-by-step walkthrough on how to create a cloth diaper cake.
Materials you’ll need:
- 10-pack Prefold Birdseye Cloth Diaper with Absorbent Pad
- Scissors
- Tape
- Paper cutouts
- Stickers
- Extra decorations (Ribbons, socks, mittens, etc)
Instructions:
For the Top: Take the diaper and fold in half, and half again. Roll that piece and hold together with a piece of tape. Take the next cloth diaper and fold in half, and half again. Roll this piece over the previous piece and tape together. Tape extra decoration around top piece.
For the Base: Fold a cloth diaper in thirds and roll, taping it together. Roll the remaining cloth diapers around each other. Tape securely together. Add additional decorations to base of the cake.
Place top piece on top of base and decorate with ribbons. Personalize as you wish.
