Uses ofMango Salsa
1. Mango Salsa with Chips/Nachos
You can have this fresh mango salsa with chips or nachos. I make homemade nachos and often pair it with my homemade tomato salsa or this mango salsa. It is super tasty.
2. Mexican dishes
You can also use it for making any Mexican themed dish along with guacamole, sour cream and beans.
3. Mango salsa as fresh salad/snack
I also have it as a fresh salad along with food. Doesn’t it remind you of the Indian kachmbar or chopped fresh salad? It is super tasty with the addition of mango.
If you are looking for a healthy, filling snack, add some cottage cheese or paneer or tofu to eat for a filling and satisfying snack.
4. Use mango salsa with grilled fish or salmon
This mango salsa goes very well with delicate fish especially salmon.
Stepwise Pictures:
Cut ripe mango into small cubes or pieces. Chop everything else finely and keep.
To assemble, mix all the chopped vegetables and fruit. Toss in lemon juice and add salt to taste. Serve immediately. Your super fresh and tasty mango salsa is ready to consume.
Pro Tips:
- Youcan chop the veggies and fruit in the fridge before hand. Just mix together andadd lemon juice and salt when ready to serve.
- Ifyou store it after preparing then the salsa will release water and theingredients will lose their crunch hence this is best consumed fresh.
- Youcan use any ripe mango for this. I used the Indian totapuri at this time.
- Ifyou don’t like chilli, you can omit it or remove the seeds if you want milderheat.
- Addingmint adds freshness to this salsa and perks it even more.
